Fairlington Glen Annual Meeting Results

The 2017 Annual Meeting of the Fairlington Glen Council of Co-Owners was held as scheduled on Thursday, November 2, 2017. Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting AND thank you to everyone who participated, whether by voting in person, by proxy, or electronically.
The minutes of the 2016 Annual Meeting were approved by a vote of 42.87% of the voting interest (99% of the votes cast). The 2018 budget was approved by a vote of 40.5% of the voting interest (92% of the votes cast).
Maynard Dixon has been elected to the Board for a term of three years by a vote of 41.44% of the voting interest (95% of the votes cast).
William "Bill" Layer has been elected to the Board for a term of three years by a vote of 36.11% of the voting interest (83% of the votes cast).


The officers for 2018 are:
President: Bill Layer
Vice President: Thora Stanwood
Secretary: Bill Worsley
Treasuer: Maynard Dixon
At-Large Member: Lee Henry

Updated Recycling Guidelines
ALL recyclables, paper and metal/glass/plastic, will now go in the same recycle bins. You will no longer separate out your paper recyclables from the rest of your recyclables. This is known as “single streaming.”

Verizon FiOS Installation Information
UPDATE!!!

(1) Verizon has provided an update on FiOS services for Fairlington Glen. It is expected that Verizon will have completed all of the necessary work so that Glen co-owners and residents interested in FiOS will be able to schedule an installation date in December.
If you are interested in tracking when your address may schedule an install date, please use the following link and provide the information requested:

The cost to have the install done can range from no cost for the simplest install to more depending on the work that needs to be done.
Regarding pricing for the different FiOS services available, visit the following link:

There is no introductory pricing at this time, although this could possibly change. Remember, if you have any questions about the FiOS installation, please email your questions and/or comments to

Please note that our Association’s lockbox address has changed. If you utilize your personal bank’s bill pay service, please be sure to change the remittance address to the new lockbox address below. If you pay your assessments through Cardinal Management Group’s Direct Debit program, you do not need to do anything further. If you use the coupon book to make payments, the new address will be included with your new coupon books that will arrive before the end of this month.

How To Pay Your Monthly Fee
Regular monthly assessments are due on or before the first day of each month. You may pay your monthly fee by automatic debit from your bank account either recurring (at no cost) or one-time only (for a small fee for each transaction through Cardinal Management's website), by a bill pay service arranged through your own financial institution, or by mailing a check with your payment coupon to the designated address.

The form to authorize the free automatic debit from your bank account is available HERE or under the "Documents" tab above on this page. The form must be completed and sent to Cardinal Management at the address noted on the form along with a canceled check to initiate this monthly payment. NOTE: This form can been filled out online, saved and printed for mailing (or, printed out blank and filled out by hand).

To make a one-time only payment (transaction will include a service charge), please follow the "For Homeowners: Click here to make payments" link at http://www.cardinalmanagementgroup.com/welcome.cfm. The Glen is required to maintain several types of insurance, of which property insurance is perhaps the most important. This insurance is paid for by all owners as part of the annual budget and is mandatory and essential to the operations of the Council.
